Prospective presidential candidate Donald Trump caused a sensation at the start of yesterday’s CPAC event when he dismissed Ron Paul’s chances of beating Obama in 2012, saying the Texas Congressman had “zero chance” of winning the election. y the way, Ron Paul cannot get elected, I’m sorry to tell you,” Trump told the CPAC crowd, to a chorus of both boos and applause.

“I like Ron Paul, I think he’s a good guy, but honestly I think he has zero chance of getting elected, you have to win an election,” the billionaire socialite added.

In actual fact, the Texas Congressman has a greater chance of beating Obama in 2012 than someone who the Republican establishment is likely to throw their weight behind next year – Sarah Palin.

Or is it Egyptian democracy that’s on the mind of the Obama administration and the mainstream media?

On the Steve Malzberg Show yesterday afternoon, the host discussed the results of a Pew Research poll conducted last year in Egypt. Egyptian citizens were questioned on issues related to government, law and order, religion, terrorism and women’s rights (see below)

The critical point was that while democratic goals and desires were being attributed to the protesters, in fact what the protesters may have actually been trying to accomplish was to rid Egypt of the pro-Western Mubarak regime.
In Egypt the wishes of the world have seemingly been accomplished with the removal of Mubarak, what and who comes next?

Investor’s Business Daily (IBD) February 10, 2011: " Islamofascism: Romantics in Western media expect "democracy" to flower from the anti-Mubarak rioting in Cairo. But polling shows Egyptians actually seek strict Islamic rule…"

Be careful what you wish for! …. While celebration over the stepping down of Mubarak has been the general reaction, take a look at the Pew Research polling results below and understand that the phrases "be careful what you wish for" and "going from the frying pan into the fire" may be "the rule and not the exception" in Egypt!

• 49% of Egyptians say Islam plays only a "small role" in public affairs under President Hosni Mubarak, while 95% prefer the religion play a "large role in politics."

• 84% favor the death penalty for people who leave the Muslim faith.

• 82% support stoning adulterers.

• 77% think thieves should have their hands cut off.

• 54% support a law segregating women from men in the workplace.

• 54% believe suicide bombings that kill civilians can be justified.

• Nearly half support the terrorist group Hamas.

• 30% have a favorable opinion of Hezbollah.

• 20% maintain positive views of al-Qaida and Osama bin Laden.

• 82% of Egyptians dislike the U.S. — the highest unfavorable rating among the 18 Muslim nations Pew surveyed.

Or is it from the frying pan into the fire?

According to local print and broadcast media … many in America appear to support quite similar goals as those stated above …

In Arizona it’s bring your gun find a target … carry it concealed into church … bar … court room … or shopping center parking lot and turn the place into a shooting gallery …

Racism is strongly supported … leaving the poor to die … the invalid … emotionally/mentally challenged unattended …

Education to McDonald hamburger standards is supported … mass incarceration into private for profit prisons is supported …

And we dare challenge the Egyptians’ whose recent actions were essentially without arms resulting in dramatic change of government…?

Shocking New IMF Report: The U.S. Dollar Needs To Be Replaced As The World Reserve Currency And SDRs “Could Constitute An Embryo Of Global Currency”

The IMF is trying to move the world away from the U.S. dollar and towards a global currency once again.  In a new report entitled “Enhancing International Monetary Stability—A Role for the SDR“, the IMF details the “problems” with having the U.S. dollar as the reserve currency of the globe and the IMF discusses the potential for a larger role for SDRs (Special Drawing Rights).  But the IMF certainly does not view SDRs as the “final solution” to global currency problems.  Rather, the IMF considers SDRs to be a transitional phase between what we have now and a new world currency.  In this newly published report, the IMF makes this point very clearly: “In the even longer run, if there were political willingness to do so, these securities could constitute an embryo of global currency.” 

Yes, you read that correctly.  The SDR is supposed to be “an embryo” from which a global currency will one day develop.  So what about the U.S. dollar and other national currencies?  Well, they would just end up fading away.

CNN clearly understands what the IMF is trying to accomplish with this new report.  The following is how CNN’s recent story about the new IMF report begins….

“The International Monetary Fund issued a report Thursday on a possible replacement for the dollar as the world’s reserve currency.”

That is exactly what the IMF intends to do.

They intend to have SDRs replace the U.S. dollar as the world reserve currency.

So exactly what are SDRs?

Well, “SDR” is short for Special Drawing Rights.  It is a synthetic currency unit that is made up of a basket of currencies.  SDRs have actually been around for many years, but now they are being heavily promoted as an alternative to the dollar.

The following is how Wikipedia defines SDRs….

Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) are international foreign exchange reserve assets. Allocated to nations by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), a SDR represents a claim to foreign currencies for which it may be exchanged in times of need.

The SDR is a hybrid.  SDRs are part U.S. dollar, part euro, part yen and part British pound.  In particular, the following is how each SDR currently breaks down….

U.S. Dollar: 41.9%

Euro: 37.4%

Yen: 9.4%

British Pound: 11.3%

Now there are calls for other national currencies to be included in the basket.

When Democracy Weakens

As the throngs celebrated in Cairo, I couldn’t help wondering about what is happening to democracy here in the United States. I think it’s on the ropes. We’re in serious danger of becoming a democracy in name only.

While millions of ordinary Americans are struggling with unemployment and declining standards of living, the levers of real power have been all but completely commandeered by the financial and corporate elite. It doesn’t really matter what ordinary people want.

The wealthy call the tune, and the politicians dance.

What You Should Know about Flu Antiviral Drugs

Many people believe there is no treatment for a virus and you have to let it run its course. But when it comes to influenza (often called “the flu”), antiviral drugs can be used for prevention and treatment. While CDC recommends flu vaccination as the first and most important step in preventing flu, antiviral drugs are a second line of defense against the flu.

Flu antiviral drugs are prescription medications (pills, liquid, or an inhaled powder) that can be used to treat flu infection. CDC recommends two flu antiviral drugs this flu season—oseltamivir (Tamiflu®) and zanamivir (Relenza®).

Flu antiviral drugs are different from antibiotics and are not sold over-the-counter. You can only get them if you have a prescription from a doctor. While most people with the flu have mild illness and don’t need medical care or antiviral drugs, some people will greatly benefit from the use of antiviral drugs.  Clinical judgment is the most important part of deciding if antiviral drugs are needed to treat flu infection.

Antiviral treatment is most effective when started as soon as possible, ideally within the first 2 days of flu symptoms. Antivirals can make you feel better and shorten the time you are sick by 1 or 2 days. They can also prevent serious complications caused by flu infection, such as pneumonia. Tamiflu® and Relenza® are usually taken for 5 days, although hospitalized flu patients may need the medicine for longer than 5 days.

Antiviral drugs are especially beneficial for people who are very sick with flu, such as people who are in the hospital, and people with flu who have a greater chance of serious complications. Those who may have a greater chance of serious flu complications include:

GOP learns cost of Palin attacks

Rick Santorum discovered this week what nearly all the other GOP presidential candidates already know – you don’t mess with Sarah Palin.

Santorum touched off a media firestorm Tuesday with remarks that appeared to denigrate Palin, and the response from the former Alaska governor and her supporters was swift and unforgiving. The episode proved instructive: Not only is the Republican outline against Palin taking shape, but so too is the Palin outline for how she’ll fight back.

With Palin looming as a possible contender for the GOP nomination, the question of how — or whether — to take her on is a delicate one for her fellow Republicans.

In Santorum’s case, the former Pennsylvania senator got into trouble in a web-radio interview with conservative commentator S.E. Cupp. While his recent jibes at Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels and Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour landed without much notice, Santorum’s Palin comments blew up in his face.

Asked why he thought Palin wasn’t attending the Conservative Political Action Conference, he responded: “I have a feeling that she has some demands on her time, and a lot of them have financial benefit attached to them.” He added that Palin had “other business opportunities” as well as “all these kids” to look after as a mother, both of which caused constraints on her time.

Though Santorum later insisted otherwise, his comments seemed to imply that Palin was more interested in cashing in on her celebrity than running for office, a critique rarely voiced in public by Republican officials. And his mention of her children — an especially freighted reference — only compounded the situation.

Under Maritime Admiralty law the corporation of the United States, not the constitutional entity, is in control.

For those of you unfamiliar with maritime law and its legal implications, here’s a brief explanation: Ever wonder why some American flags, especially those in your courts of law, police stations, and even in the lobby of Walt Disney Corporation all have a gold fringe?

It’s not to make the flag look more regal, but to make sure that those who are governed by the law of that institution are NOT governed by the United States of America Constitution, but by the bylaws of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA CORPORATION.

The Corporation is a headless beast that strives to create profit. Profit to a laymen is money. Profit to those who control the world is control. The gold fringe on any American flag is the greatest level of desecration one could have.

This goes for state flags as well. It says to the legal world that you are under the law of the Corporation and NOT the country.

Ultimately when you walk into a court of law, you are being governed by the bylaws of a Corporation and not by your Constitution.

There are courts that decide if a matter is Constitutional or Unconstitutional, but they are merely looking out of their legal domain and into ours, for we the people, are the only body or group that considers itself under the Constitution. Straightforward fact – yet no one notices

What is Maritime Law?

The gold fringe originates from something called Maritime Law. This was a technique that countries used back in the days of Naval fleets that needed to barter and or sign treaties between nations.

Here’s the thing … if you ask any government agent they either don’t know or they won’t tell … you’re on your own in unraveling this flag business … scoff at it at your own peril …
