Curbing foreclosure$

DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE …it is all well and good to suggest a key to Arizona’s recovery is curbing foreclosures … the question remaining unanswered is how …?

How indeed when we elected a state legislature unable to see beyond their own next election and who continue to demonstrate they are not willing to make the “tough calls” choosing instead to take positions akin to that depicted in this foretelling cartoon attached …

Might we honestly curb home foreclosure when Arizona actually provides quality education for all, when we have a health care system, both physical and mental, which delivers quality care to all, irrespective of their presumed economic station, when the jobs our citizens have provide more than minimum wage, when the benefits of government largess are not limited to the few, the elite, the rich, the famous, the corporations…?

… “Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in fear” … Harry S. Truman
