Gov. Jan Brewer abruptly ended budget negotiations Wednesday saying talks won’t start again until Republican lawmakers fix the problems she has with their proposed $8.6 billion spending plan.

Brewer, according to Benson, ordered her staff to cease talks with legislative aides over the budget until Republicans address her concerns.
