Are “WE” going to equitable and ethically resolve it or pass it forward to our children…?

clip_image002…I have no doubt the intent of these writers is honorable hoping to promote better understanding about Arizona’s precarious water issues … BUT … here’s my problem … the essence of this article is to articulate the effort that political bodies exert In controlling who get Colorado River water … when and how much … BUT… there is not authentic acknowledgment that no one put a gun to Arizona’s head demanding we build the CAP and the price we would pay would be to lose our Senior rights to Colorado River water … AND … our political and water gurus refuse to acknowledge that “WE” – – voters – citizens – of Arizona – – do not currently have nor have we had an authentic seat at the table when any WAER decision is being made in our stead  … yet it is “WE” who is held accountable for our WATER dilemma…

…And honestly it is “WE” who on our watch allowed this WATER dilemma to occur…

… Are “WE” going to equitable and ethically resolve it or pass it forward to our children…???
