…IF…true this calls into question the response of the City of Phoenix Police Department on the protesters…  This has a horrible smell…

Trump was so angry about the small crowd at his Phoenix rally, he fired a longtime event organizer

By Jen Hayden    Tuesday Aug 29, 2017 · 7:14 AM PDT    With the memory of his abnormally small inauguration crowd still fresh in his mind, Donald Trump waited backstage at his Phoenix campaign rally and reportedly became enraged by the puny crowd waiting to hear him speak. In fact, he was so angry, he fired his longtime event organizer. From Bloomberg:

TV and social media coverage showed that the site of his campaign rally, the Phoenix Convention Center, was less than full. Backstage, waiting in a room with a television monitor, Trump was displeased, one person familiar with the incident said: TV optics and crowd sizes are extremely important to the president.

As his surrogates warmed up the audience, the expanse of shiny concrete eventually filled in with cheering Trump fans. But it was too late for a longtime Trump aide, George Gigicos, the former White House director of advance who had organized the event as a contractor to the Republican National Committee. Trump later had his top security aide, Keith Schiller, inform Gigicos that he’d never manage a Trump rally again, according to three people familiar with the matter.

Gigicos, one of the four longest-serving political aides to the president, declined to comment.

Once again, Donald Trump is too chickenshit to fire someone in person, sending his security guard Keith Schiller to do his dirty work. Schiller is the same person Trump sent to fire former FBI director James Comey.

Bloomberg notes that Gigicos recently left the White House for a job at the RNC, but was still managing Trump’s campaign rallies.

·       Ted Cruz blusters when asked why he opposed Hurricane Sandy relief then, but wants Harvey relief now

·       Mexico says nope to Trump’s wall demand but offers Harvey disaster relief ‘as good neighbors do’

Hurricane Harvey is truly a disaster of biblical proportions. The impact of the storm’s flooding, particularly in densely developed areas like cities such as Houston, is far more constant than a massive, natural disaster like Harvey exposes. As The Atlantic reports, the reason cities flood isn’t because the water comes in, not exactly. It’s because the pavement of civilization forces the water to get back out again. Then there’s the question of climate change. Did it really make Harvey worse?

hires an “outside” expert to assess how our law enforcement personnel responded immediately raises

image…I have no doubt the vast majority, save a mere handful, of those protesting TUUMP’s appearance last week in Phoenix were unquestioningly peaceful and compliant…

…The fact that the City of Phoenix hires an “outside” expert to assess how our law enforcement personnel responded immediately raises the WHITE WASH signal…

…I try to imagine how I might feel were I on the “blue line” assigned to protect a man who inside has championed that he has no compunction about running over protesters… or throwing them out … I suspect that under these circumstances nearly any “incident” no matter, in retrospect how trivial, could trigger an automatic hostile act on the part of our law enforcement…

I was NOT there, so I do not know, bub, given the city’s reaction I suspect we do not have the full story…and likely never will…

…Not so fast …this hotel deal will quickly be swept under rug as “deals” for NEW arenas for the Suns and D/Backs are championed as absolutely required for Phoenix to fund…
