surveillance

clip_image002surveillance...

…A word many Americans normally associate with an activity performed by legitimate law enforcement necessary to terminate some unlawful, illegal activity or action…

…Normally not an activity most Americans associate with their government’s conduct on the daily movement and interaction of its citizens…

…Thanks to “W” Bush/Cheney and Congressional approval of their Patriot Act … surveillance … of Americans lives 24/7 became a for-profit-endeavor which corporate interests have embraced and handsomely profited…

…Technical enhancement surveillance techniques has launched mega corporate empires Google, Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Verizon, Mega-bank$$, each seeking to extract specific significant bits of data about you which they utilize to motivate you to act in a manner which they trust ultimately rewards them financially$$$…

…Moreover these same corporations compile ever increasing bits of data about you in every aspect of your life to which you grant them access … which they $ell to any party willing to pay the price they ask…

NOTE… though likely an unpopular notion it is high time Americans thoroughly contemplate that “we” voluntarily choose to abide by the rules, regulations, conditions imposed by corporations like Google, Facebook, Verizon, Amazon, et.al., as they did not put a gun to our head and coerce, threaten, nor intimidate us to agree to their usage terms…

…And while they did NOT specify these sites are essentially open to the public it should not come as surprise that the data we provide to them becomes part of the data available to anyone with the technology to access it…

That is not to say there are sites where it is specifically stated the data we provide, especially to government, and medical, are private and disclosure of our data is to be only provided pursuant to legal precedent…

…Our lives, our actions, our feelings, our pictures, our finances, our health, our voting record, is now … thanks to 24/7 surveillance for sale to the highest bidder…
